How long does it last?

The Engagement Traineeship runs Monday to Friday for 12 to 21 hours per week (flexible approach) for 8-10 weeks.

The Level 1 Traineeship runs Monday to Friday until the learner has completed their individual learning programme. The day starts at 09:00 and finishes at 16:30.

Will I wear a uniform?

Yes. Your training kit is made up of a tracksuit, polo shirt, 2 t-shirts and 2 pairs of shorts.

Do I get paid?

Yes you get paid £30 Training Maintenance Allowance (TMA) on the Engagement Traineeship and £50 on the Level 1 Traineeship.

Will my travel get paid?

You only contribute £5 towards your weekly travel expenses. The remainder of your travel will be reimbursed each week.

Do I have to join the Level 1 Traineeship course when I complete the Engagement Strand?

No, the Engagement Traineeship is to re-engage students back into learning and help them with making the right career choice. You will signposted to your own individual career choice.

What will I do on the course?

The Engagement Traineeship re-engages all learners and empowers them to make the right choices in life.

The Level 1 Traineeship is for learners to achieve vocational skills to enable them to make the right career choices.
